Gallows Hill Presents: The Gallows Hill Main Show

The Witchcraft and Ghost Experience, also known as the Gallows Hill Main Show, brings to life what the Puritans feared: witches and ghosts! The Main Show is an immersive, exciting way to learn about the ghost stories and legends of Salem through the use of live action, haunting images, 4D effects, and much more. Experience the history and terror of the Salem Witch Trials first hand by joining us on your next visit to Salem!

The Main Show runs through the summer, and fall with hours that vary from season to season. Please click the link for tickets below to see upcoming ticket availability. Shows run about 22 minutes long and run every half hour, at quarter past and quarter of the hour within the hours of operation. Tickets to The Main Show are general admission, first come first serve, unless otherwise specified on your ticket. Check availability for VIP tickets that allow you to skip the line.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • This event is seated and wheelchair accessible.
  • This event features elements such as fog, flashing lights, loud noises, and air blasts.
  • Due to the show’s startling nature and use of special effects, such as fog, no animals of any kind will be allowed into this event, including pets, emotional support animals, and service animals.
  • The Gallows Hill Main Show and The Lost Museum Haunted Adventure may close at different times. Those with combos tickets, please plan accordingly.

Is it a seated experience?

Yes, and air conditioned. Wheelchair accessible!

Does it have historical value?

Yes. We use fact-based history, legend and myth to create a unique theatrical event.

 

Is it scary?

Yes, at times, so be prepared to jump a little.

There are some jump scares and  visual effects that may be frightening to some people.

 

Is it a walk through museum?

No, it’s unlike any other tourist attraction in Salem.

We do offer our haunted attraction,  The Lost Museum, which is a walk through.

Do things happen in the audience?

Yes, some effects actually happen in and around the audience, including air and fog blasts, projections and ghostly elements!

How long is it?

Show length is approximately 22 minutes, and runs daily every 30 minutes.
